Quinnalytics Test Inspector Privacy Policy

How the Test Inspector Chrome extension handles information. In short: it doesn't collect any.

Last updated October 29, 2026

The short version

The extension runs entirely in your browser. It collects no personal information, has no analytics or tracking, and sends nothing to Quinnalytics or anyone else.

What this policy covers

This policy applies to the Quinnalytics Test Inspector, a Chrome extension that shows the A/B tests, multivariate tests and personalization experiences running on the web page you are viewing. It does not cover the Quinnalytics website or our consulting services.

What the extension reads

To find active tests, the extension reads information that testing platforms such as Adobe Target, Optimizely and Monetate place in the web page, along with the requests those platforms make while the page loads. It reads this only to display the results in its panel.

What the extension collects

Nothing. The extension does not collect, store, sell or share personal information, browsing history or page content. It has no analytics, no tracking and no advertising, and it does not use cookies of its own.

Where information goes

All processing happens locally in your browser, and results are discarded when you close or reload the page. Information leaves the extension only when you click one of its Copy buttons, which place text on your own clipboard.

Permissions

The extension asks for the following Chrome permissions, each used only to detect and display active tests:

  • Access to the websites you visit: testing platforms can run on any site, so the extension cannot know in advance which pages you will inspect.
  • Scripting: lets the extension show its panel on the page and read the testing platforms' data when you open it.
  • Active tab: lets the extension work on the tab you are looking at when you click its icon or use its keyboard shortcut.

Third parties

The extension does not send information to any third party. Quinnalytics is not affiliated with or endorsed by the testing platforms the extension recognizes; their names are used only to describe compatibility.

Chrome Web Store User Data Policy

The extension's handling of information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
